Flat Style

Flat Style drapery is one of the simplest styles for a minimalist look while also giving you, the client, the ability to choose how full the finished panels will be.

Flat style can be constructed with a rigid buckram material along the top edge to give drapes a consistent rolling appearance and to allow for the installation of drapery pins. This allows the drape to be hung on decorative rings or a more traditional drapery hardware.

A more relaxed version of the flat style drapery leaves the buckram out of the top edge and gives the drape a casual ‘droop’ appearance. Drapery pins cannot be installed into this version of flat style drapes and works best with a lightweight fabric and ‘clip-type’ rings.
